To truly capture the essence of commercial space travel, we partnered with Virgin Galactic to build a captivating digital experience that ultimately won a Webby Award. The site utilizes an unconventional grid utilizing both horizontal and vertical scrolling alongside full-bleed imagery to evoke the vastness and scale of space.
Using Virgin Galactic's archive of photography, video, and audio, we designed a simple, content-first experience that lets the story speak for itself. Full-screen visuals and a minimal interface create a compelling journey, while the technology remains largely invisible to the user.
